It is an hourly-based pricing model meaning the cost of the project will ultimately be based on the hours and resources to completed project.
It provides clients with the most amount of flexibility, allowing for project requirements to be adjusted as needed to accommodate changes in business or market direction. The Fixed Price model is best used for projects with easily refined scope, deliverables and timelines. For both the client and service provider, it’s at no risk, as it outlines the finished product cost before development begins.
The Fixed Price model keeps the budget controlled and ensures timely delivery, while continuing a transparent and unencumbered rapport between both parties. This model works best when specifications aren’t subject to change, whether small or large.
